Creating Eternal Statements Alone.Creating Eternal Statements by ~xxNinjaStarGirlxx
Silent.
Empty.
I sit.
Every period, creating a final statement.
Creating an eternity of final statements.
Can I put a period on my life?
Because all I have right now is a question mark, and a lot of run on sentences.
Too many.
Too many new beginnings overlapping the old.
Too many chances for adventure, stolen, ripped from my fingers, swept away with the sea.
So here I sit.
Alone on the beach.
Listening to all my pointless metaphors rush away in the wind, like crying birds.
Watching all those silly dreams get swept away by the sea.
Waiting.

A funny place to be, thinks Stargirl about the world
Not a nice place, this reality we call home, not for a Stargirl
Waiting, waiting, for a rainbow
That will never come it seems. The dormouse
Drops from Stargirl's head to the book.
The precious book where there is no cold bleak grey rain
In the book, there is only warm

The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle. (Anais Nin)
